Eastern Shore Community Centre, 67 Park Rd, Musquodoboit Harbour
Championship games will be played at Eastern Shore Community Centre.
Each arena will have an info desk that teams can check in at the information desk upon arrival. A monitor will display assigned dressing rooms, and a single female locker room is available at each rink.
All players keep balls securely in their pockets whenever they are off the playing floor, both inside and outside the facility. NO WALL BALL INSIDE OR OUTSIDE. We have had an incident last week with damage to the new heating system due to improper use. Teams and players will be responsible for any damages.
At the Eastern Shore Rink, the side doors, specifically those near the Zamboni and accessible bathroom, are strictly off-limits to players. These doors must not be used for entry or exit to the rink. This is a matter of safety and respect for the facility. Coaches and managers are asked to remind their players of this rule before each game, as some have been using these doors for warm-ups, which is not permitted. Please use the main doors for all entry and exit.
Rules
We will follow the MMLL Code of Discipline (link available on the website).
Suspensions from the league carry into the tournament, and any tournament suspensions follow back to league play.
All major suspensions will be reported to Lacrosse Nova Scotia.
If a team wants to add players that are NOT on your regular team roster (combo 2 teams, or add other players- you need to get permission from the Tournament committee)
The organizing committee reserves the right to remove a player, team, or official if necessary.
Game Format
3 X 15 minute periods, straight time except the last 3 minutes of the game, which will be stop time unless delays prevent completing the game within the 1-hour time slot.
At the referee's discretion, games may be shortened to stay on schedule.
Each team is allowed 1 X 30-second timeout per game.
Arena ice clocks will be used to keep games on time.
